Anuri: A Community of Practice in Nunavik

This community of practice is unique in Nunavik. It allows its participants to easily keep in touch with each other through an online forum even though they only meet face-to-face a couple of times a year. Anuri was started as part of a masters' project in 2003-2004. It is still active in 2007-2008. (more…)
Students Explore New Ways to Communicate

This spring, secondary students from several schools in Nunavik have been using online discussion forums to communicate and exchange ideas. The discussion topics are proposed by them and their teachers. One of the weekly themes is the importance of traditional learning. (more…)
Personal Development Course by Videoconference

Once a week, we deliver a personal development course to a group of Secondary 3-5 students. What's special about the course? Well, first of all, the students live in Nunavik, 1500 km away. One of the goals is to add a breath of fresh air to the student's lives by giving them a chance to travel "virtually" to meet other people. (more…)

Parcours Nunavik (Qimirrunik Nunavimmi), is a trilingual photo gallery that began 4 years ago. This website started with an MEQ grant and was improved the following year in a second phase with help from Gathering Strength. Our role: idea, fundraising, conception, project coordination and management of first and second phases.

Voici un exemple d'un site web bâti à "l'ancienne" avec des pages html statiques. Je m'occupe en partie du côté technique de ce site pour donner un coup de main à Steve qui travaille à l'association. C'est un petit projet pour le plaisir de m'impliquer dans le soccer ici à Val-Bélair.
